The elderly Wanda Dunn was a shut-in; never leaving her abandoned, dilapidated apartment complex that was scheduled for demolition.

Wanda was the last resident living in the building.  She never even answered her door because she feared that the personification of death, Mr. Death, would come and take her away.

You have just crossed over The Twilight Zone

The original Twilight Zone was created by Rod Sterling in 1959. It was an anthology television series which included science fiction, suspense, horror, and psychological thrillers with unexpected twists.

Today, when people say they are in the “Twilight Zone”, this usually means they are thinking irrationally or in an impulsive manner. The Twilight Zone describes a place of middle ground; a place between light and shadow, science and superstition. A place where you don’t want to live.

What is your Twilight Zone?

Do you have doors that you are hiding behind where your irrational fears are holding you hostage?

You will never truly understand yourself, or the internal power you have inside if you stay in The Twilight Zone.

If you find yourself living in the Twilight Zone, it’s time to open the door, get out and find freedom.

Freedom From: Freedom Towards

You want to find freedom from fear, worry and anxious thoughts but in order to move from something; you must move towards something else.

When you leave the prison of fear behind you, keep moving towards developing a sound mind so that you can experience a greater sense of inner peace.

Seek Truth

Knowing that the Twilight Zone is merely a figment of your imagination, seek to find truth. Many of us tell ourselves stories, but you must start to decipher fact from fiction.

“We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” – Seneca

Strategize

Strategize instead of ruminating. Research shows that resilient people don’t spend time worrying but instead focus on having strategies to overcome their obstacles.

Invest in Healthy Relationships

We are hard-wired for relationships and connections. Healthy relationships are vital to your mental and emotional well-being. Seek them.

If you are in the Twilight Zone, I sincerely hope you take these keys to heart and let yourself out. No one should be alone; fearing that Mr. Death is waiting for them.

 

There are people waiting for you on the other side of the Twilight Zone.

They are expectantly waiting for you to wake up to live your full potential, to wake up to the seeds of greatness planted inside of you.

It’s time to wake up and leave the Twilight Zone.
